Senior Site Engineer – Construction Projects

About the role

The Senior Site Engineer will oversee all civil and architectural works at the New Capital site, ensuring they are executed on schedule, meet quality standards, and comply with health and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review shop drawings and coordinate execution details with the Construction Manager.
• Develop and agree on schedules, manpower, material, and equipment plans for the execution team.
• Monitor supervisors and subcontractors to confirm work is performed as required.
• Conduct initial quantity take‑offs, request materials, and calculate wastage.
• Record production rates and verify worker attendance for payment certification.
• Coordinate with Surveying Engineer to ensure works follow approved coordinates and levels.
• Work with Safety Supervisors to enforce occupational health and safety standards.
• Prepare daily reports on progress, completion percentages, and production rates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering.
• 2–5 years of site construction experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
• Ability to manage supervisors, subcontractors, materials, and site activities.
