Senior Software Engineer - IBM BAW

About the role

DXC Technology is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) to design and implement enterprise workflow solutions for banking, insurance and finance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business process requirements and translate them into technical workflow designs.
• Design and develop workflow solutions using IBM Business Automation Workflow, including process applications, services, and user interface coaches.
• Configure business rules, case management solutions, and integrate BAW with Java components, databases, REST and SOAP services.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, defect resolution and provide production support.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and knowledge‑base content.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with analysts, project managers, architects and other technical teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience delivering workflow projects in banking, insurance or finance sectors.
• Experience with IBM Case Manager and IBM FileNet.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenShift or other container platforms and cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Proven ability in solution design, customer‑facing consulting or technical leadership.
