Senior Technical Design & Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Design & Sales Engineer to join our New Cairo showroom. In this hybrid position you will combine precise engineering of luxury woodwork with high‑touch client consulting, driving our “Engineering‑Led Luxury Interiors” vision.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate shop drawings, 3‑D views and Bills of Materials for kitchens, dressing rooms and custom architectural woodwork, adhering to tolerances of ±0.5 mm.
• Develop detailed technical specifications for solid‑wood joinery, premium hardware (Blum, Hettich, Salice) and CNC‑compatible designs.
• Lead, review and mentor junior designers and technical engineers, ensuring 100 % production‑ready files.
• Streamline the design‑to‑production workflow to minimise material waste.
• Welcome premium clients and interior designers, explain structural and material choices, present photorealistic renders and close sales to meet monthly showroom targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Applied Arts or a related engineering field.
• 5–7 years of experience in technical detailing and manufacturing of high‑end kitchens, dressing rooms or custom furniture.
• Proven ability to manage a team and communicate complex engineering concepts to clients.

Required skills

• Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max and SketchUp.
• Strong skills in architectural visualization and AI‑driven design workflows.
• In‑depth knowledge of woodwork joinery, CNC manufacturing limits and smart nesting.
• Familiarity with premium hardware systems such as Blum, Hettich and Salice.
