Senior Technical Office Engineer

About the role

Home Gate Construction is seeking a Senior Technical Office Engineer to join its team in Markaz Sohag. The role focuses on reviewing and coordinating shop drawings, technical submittals, and design details to ensure they meet project specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review, check, and coordinate shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Prepare, verify, and update quantities and Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for cost control.
• Support variation orders, claims documentation, and progress payment calculations.
• Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and clarify design queries.
• Produce technical reports, maintain organized project documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong technical background in civil engineering with hands‑on experience in building projects.
• Experience in quantity surveying, measurement, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate civil and electrical interfaces.
• Previous experience as a Technical Office Engineer, preferably at a senior level.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong command of MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of BIM tools (advantageous).
• Competence in Quantity Surveying principles.
