Senior Technical Product Owner – Data & AI

About the role

Systems Limited is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to lead data‑intensive and AI‑focused projects at its Smart Village office. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and requires strong technical expertise to translate business needs into actionable product road‑maps.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product backlog for data and AI initiatives, prioritising features based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including data engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects—to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure alignment with agile methodologies.
• Bridge technical and business conversations, translating requirements into clear specifications.
• Make data‑driven product decisions and solve complex problems throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years proven experience as a Technical Product Owner on data‑intensive or AI‑focused projects.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, AI/ML models, data pipelines, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with analytics and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit‑learn.
• Solid knowledge of agile methodologies and backlog management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Engineering or a related field.
