SE&OP Specialist

About the role

The SE&OP Specialist at Hitachi Energy Transformers in Ramadan City, Egypt, optimizes the supply chain by driving effective Sales, Engineering and Operations Planning. The role balances demand and supply, aligns multiple functions and contributes to strategic decisions. It is a full-time, non-remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and support the end-to-end SE&OP process, including data collection, analysis and preparation of materials for review meetings
• Work with sales, marketing, engineering, production, procurement and finance to gather demand forecasts, production capacity and inventory data
• Analyze demand and supply gaps, identify risks and opportunities and propose actionable recommendations
• Develop and maintain SE&OP reports, dashboards and KPIs to monitor process effectiveness
• Drive continuous improvement and support the development of forecasting models and tools
• Communicate plans, insights and decisions to stakeholders and take part in cross-functional supply chain initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and company policies

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, demand planning, production planning or SE&OP, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment
• Strong understanding of SE&OP principles, frameworks and processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, and effective communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

Required skills

• Data analysis tools such as Excel, SAP APO, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis or Anaplan
• ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle); experience is highly desirable
• APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is an advantage
