Service Engineer – On‑site Equipment Support

About the role

The Service Engineer will join the Customer Center Service team to deliver on‑site installation, commissioning, maintenance and technical support for electric tools and related equipment. You will ensure equipment reliability, safety and optimal performance for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, start‑up and operational validation of electric tools at customer sites.
• Execute service strategies, preventive maintenance plans and Annual Service Agreements (ASAs/AMCs) in line with contractual commitments.
• Handle warranty, goodwill and chargeable service cases, documenting actions in the QCM database.
• Provide technical troubleshooting across the assigned territory while meeting response time targets and SLAs.
• Conduct customer training to improve product utilization and equipment uptime.
• Collaborate with Service Sales, Project and Sales teams to ensure successful hand‑over of machines.
• Mentor junior Service Engineers and technicians, fostering skill development.
• Manage key accounts, maintain strong relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Analyse equipment failures, perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support Aftermarket Sales by identifying leads for AMCs, spare parts and other solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in on‑site service, installation and maintenance of industrial electric tools.
• Strong customer‑facing skills with the ability to manage contracts and key accounts.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet SLA targets.
