Service Operations Expert – L3 Network Support

About the role

SITA is looking for a Service Operations Expert to lead L3 network support across its global infrastructure. You will ensure high availability, reliability and security of network systems while delivering first‑class support to a multicultural client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L3 troubleshooting and resolution for complex network issues.
• Monitor network performance and maintain high availability.
• Configure, maintain and upgrade routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and other network devices.
• Implement and manage security measures such as VPNs, IDS/IPS and NAC.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams to design solutions that meet business requirements.
• Document configurations, processes and procedures for compliance and future reference.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in network administration with L2/L3 support.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and effective communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP or Palo Alto Network Security Professional.

Required skills

• Networking protocols: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS.
• Security technologies: VPN, firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC.
• Hands‑on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto and Fortinet devices.
• Network monitoring, configuration and upgrade procedures.
• Experience with legacy networks and SD‑WAN solutions.
