Shift Lead

About the role

The Shift Lead supervises the unit’s operations, organizing workflow and acting as the main interface between production, maintenance, the Smart Innovative Operation/Optimization Center (SIOC) and other internal teams. The role ensures optimal plant performance, safety, and reliability while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with SIOC to optimize facility efficiency and implement energy sourcing strategies.
• Follow and contribute to SOP development, monitor the unattended control room, and respond to alarm conditions.
• Investigate operational issues to reduce detection‑to‑clearance time and safely operate the plant in non‑standard modes.
• Manage automated loading systems, oversee raw material and product handling, and execute safe start‑up and shut‑down procedures.
• Execute routine and corrective M1 maintenance tasks, including analyzer checks, calibration, safety valve inspection, and oil sampling.
• Perform equipment health inspections, log observations, and support contractor management under the Facility Manager.
• Maintain local spare‑parts and consumables inventory, create purchase orders, and handle storage.
• Communicate production plans and incident updates to external customers as delegated.
• Mentor site colleagues, share knowledge with SIOC and Hub experts, and participate in plant meetings.
• Ensure compliance with Group directives and complete mandatory digital and on‑job trainings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plant operations and shift supervision.
• Strong understanding of SOPs, safety procedures, and asset management strategies.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple internal teams and external customers.
• Effective communication and mentorship skills.
