Shipping Coordinator – Regional Shipping Operations

About the role

The Shipping Coordinator will support regional shipping operations across the UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, and the USA, while being based in Egypt. The role focuses on accurate shipping data entry, cost tracking, reporting, and acting as the liaison between Shipping and Finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update and maintain shipping‑related information in internal systems and trackers.
• Prepare and maintain shipping cost reports and Excel trackers.
• Validate that shipping costs are captured correctly and allocated to the appropriate cost centres.
• Coordinate with the Regional Shipping team to collect and verify shipping data.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Shipping and Finance for cost‑related queries.
• Follow up on discrepancies, ensure timely resolution, and support regular operational and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all shipping transactions.
• Assist the Shipping Team Leader with additional administrative and reporting tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Residency in Cairo, preferably near Nasr City.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Hands‑on experience with Pivot Tables.
• Knowledge of VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP functions.
