Showroom Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Showroom Manager leads the sales team at Terra Egypt’s Sheikh Zayed showroom, driving sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. The role combines strategic forecasting, inventory control and team development to ensure the showroom meets its performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor branch forecasts, addressing challenges to meet annual sales targets.
• Manage employee performance through regular one‑on‑one and group meetings.
• Oversee inventory levels via the CRM, ensuring product availability and minimizing stockouts.
• Coordinate with the warehouse for timely delivery of customer orders.
• Order and install showroom display materials according to SOPs.
• Review daily cash flow and reconcile transactions.
• Generate monthly progress reports using the ERP system and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct outdoor visits to interior designers and coach staff on external interactions.
• Lead technical onboarding sessions for new hires.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the building‑materials or retail industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong people and process management abilities.
• Proven negotiation skills and experience with sales principles.
• Resident of Giza, able to work on‑site at the Sheikh Zayed showroom.
