Site Accountant

About the role

The Site Accountant will manage all accounting activities for Alunaut’s site in Nasr City, Cairo. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and provides financial insight to support operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for the site.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop, monitor, and report on site budgets, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Ensure compliance with local and international accounting regulations and tax laws.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Collaborate with operational teams to optimize financial performance.
• Process payroll and manage related financial records.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and perform regular reconciliations.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in accounting and finance principles.
• Strong ability in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Solid understanding of financial reporting standards and general ledger management.
• Experience with audit processes and tax compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in all financial tasks.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach and effective communication skills.

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
