Site Engineer – Light Current

About the role

The Site Engineer – Light Current will lead the installation, testing, commissioning and handover of ELV systems for a major project in the New Administrative Capital. You will ensure that all works meet project specifications, quality standards and deadlines while coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities for ELV systems including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Structured Cabling, Public Address, Intrusion Alarm and Intercom.
• Ensure installations follow approved shop drawings, specifications and project schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and other disciplines on site.
• Monitor progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, and inspect installation quality.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and system handover.
• Review material deliveries, raise RFIs and report technical issues to the Technical Office.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Enforce HSE policies and company procedures on site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer on Light Current/ELV projects, preferably large‑scale commercial or governmental.
• Good understanding of international ELV standards and strong knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
