Site Engineer – Ras El Hekma Construction Project

About the role

The Civil Site Engineer will oversee daily activities on the Ras El Hekma construction site, ensuring that all works follow approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety rules and the project schedule. Acting as the bridge between the technical office, contractors, consultants and the on‑site workforce, the role is essential for smooth project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise civil works such as excavation, foundations, concrete, formwork and finishing.
• Verify that execution matches approved drawings, specifications and the construction schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and site staff to keep activities on track.
• Conduct regular inspections, quality checks and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports for the Senior Engineer.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and propose practical site‑based solutions.
• Support the preparation of BOQs, material take‑offs and site measurements.
• Maintain accurate site records, including deliveries, progress logs and inspection reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of civil site engineering experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and relevant legal regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with site safety practices and quality standards.
