Site Quality Assurance Specialist – High-Speed Rail Project

About the role

Join Siemens Mobility’s landmark high‑speed rail project in Egypt as a Site Quality Assurance Specialist. You will ensure that incoming trainsets meet strict inspection standards and support the seamless handover of vehicles to the customer.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming vehicles according to inspection instructions and document results.
• Update and monitor open points in the CMMS (Cormap), ensuring timely processing and communication.
• Perform COM‑phase vehicle inspections, including visual checks and partial functional tests, and record any deviations.
• Monitor and verify modifications to guarantee compliance with quality standards.
• Support the quality‑compliant handover of trainsets to the customer.
• Coordinate activities with external companies when required.

Required profile

• Degree or vocational training in a mechanical field.
• 5‑8 years of hands‑on mechanical experience.
• Proven experience in quality assurance within rail, automotive or transport industries.
• Strong awareness of quality and cost efficiency.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English; German is a plus.
• Team player with a proactive, goal‑oriented mindset.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel.

Required skills

• Use of CMMS (Cormap) for tracking inspection results and open points.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
