Site Team Leader - Mechanical

About the role

The Site Team Leader – Mechanical will oversee workshop activities on a construction site, ensuring that all mechanical work is performed efficiently, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This position coordinates resources, monitors progress, and acts as the primary point of contact between the workshop and other project departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily workshop operations, guaranteeing timely completion of tasks.
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment according to workload and project priorities.
• Monitor productivity, budget adherence, and quality compliance throughout the project.
• Coordinate with the Technical Office, Quality Control, and other departments to maintain a smooth workflow.
• Supervise workshop staff and subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with project specifications.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, reporting progress and challenges to management.
• Implement corrective actions when work quality deviates from standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports and communicate workshop performance to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in workshop maintenance and operations.
