SME Non-Financial Services Officer (Senior)

About the role

The SME Non-Financial Services Officer supports small and medium enterprises by promoting awareness of government, private‑sector and civil‑society programmes that enhance financial inclusion and business growth. The role combines outreach, coordination and advisory activities across multiple branches in Egypt.

Key responsibilities

• Raise awareness of fundamental SME development practices and promote the “NilePreneurs” initiative.
• Coordinate with authorities, funding institutions and ecosystem partners to facilitate finance and export capacity for SMEs.
• Conduct field visits, outreach events and workshops to engage local MSMEs.
• Prepare and deliver regular performance reports, data insights and scorecards for BDS centers.
• Perform initial credit evaluations and provide tailored consultative advice to scale client businesses.
• Manage ongoing client performance, nurture institutional relationships and expand referral networks.
• Guide entrepreneurs in drafting business plans, feasibility studies and industrial development frameworks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 0‑3 years experience for Officer level or 3‑5 years for Senior Officer level.
• Strong active listening, empathy and relationship‑building abilities.
• Effective presentation, training and workshop facilitation skills.
• Resilience, adaptability and persuasive communication.

Required skills

• Basic credit and financial analysis.
• Credit file preparation and bankability assessment.
• Feasibility study and business planning expertise.
