SOC Analyst Level 2 – Manama, Bahrain

About the role

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst Level 2 will join a 24x7 security operations team responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to information security incidents across the MENA region. You will work closely with IT teams and business units to mitigate vulnerabilities and strengthen the overall security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the SIEM platform and investigate security alerts and events.
• Respond to incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and document resolution steps.
• Perform daily security scanning, vulnerability assessments, and threat research.
• Configure and administer security tools and technologies.
• Collaborate with network and system teams to develop remediation plans.
• Provide security recommendations and support security initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT/security operations or a SOC environment.
• Professional security certifications (e.g., CIHE, CEH, CPTE) are preferred.

Required skills

• SIEM monitoring and incident handling.
• Network+, CCNA Routing & Switching, Security+ knowledge.
• Linux and Windows security fundamentals.
• Forensics and penetration testing techniques.
• Experience with network switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Project, Excel, Access).
