Social Media Manager – Education Sector

About the role

The Social Media Manager will lead the academy’s online presence, creating and executing a cohesive social media strategy that reflects the institution’s brand and values. Working on‑site in Alexandria, you will collaborate with academic and administrative teams to showcase programs, events, and achievements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain content calendars, write and schedule engaging posts.
• Coordinate visual assets with design teams and ensure brand consistency.
• Monitor platform performance, track analytics, and produce performance reports.
• Respond to comments and messages, fostering a professional online community.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to highlight educational initiatives and events.
• Stay updated on social media trends and recommend improvements to increase reach and engagement.

Required profile

• Strong Social Media Marketing and SMO experience across major platforms.
• Excellent communication and writing skills, able to craft audience‑appropriate content.
• Ability to design and implement an effective content strategy aligned with brand identity.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and data‑driven decision making.
• Prior experience in education or similar sectors is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects on‑site.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field preferred.
