Social Media Manager

About the role

Scoop Empire is seeking a full‑time Social Media Manager to lead its social presence across major platforms. Based onsite in Qesm El Maadi, you will work closely with editors, writers, and designers to ensure the brand voice aligns with the editorial calendar and engages a diverse audience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, publish, and monitor daily content on all major social channels.
• Develop and execute social media strategies that boost reach and engagement.
• Optimize posts for each platform and manage community interactions such as comments, messages, and mentions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create multimedia assets, captions, and social‑first stories.
• Track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend data‑driven improvements.

Required profile

• Strong social media marketing and SMO experience managing brand accounts.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft on‑brand copy.
• Experience in content strategy, including calendar planning and platform‑specific adaptation.
• Familiarity with digital trends, pop culture, and regional online communities.
• Ability to work onsite full‑time, meet multiple deadlines, and collaborate effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media or equivalent practical experience; media or agency background preferred.
