Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join a global technology leader focused on high‑traffic e‑commerce platforms. The position is fully remote and ideal for new graduates who are eager to build scalable backend services and contribute to real‑time user experiences worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and testing standards.
• Optimize system performance through profiling, debugging, and algorithmic improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to ship features.

Required profile

• Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience or academic exposure to distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Experience using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
