Software Testing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Software Testing Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with developers, product managers and designers to ensure high‑quality releases across web, API and mobile platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases for functional and non‑functional testing.
• Perform both manual and automated testing of web applications, REST APIs and mobile apps.
• Collaborate in an agile environment, attending planning meetings, providing feedback on user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document and track defects using our issue‑tracking system and verify fixes through regression testing.
• Explore automation opportunities and gradually integrate automated tests alongside manual processes.
• Assess release readiness and contribute to timely, high‑quality deliveries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience working in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with an analytical mindset.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Manual testing of web, REST API and mobile applications.
• Automation testing tools such as Playwright, Appium, Rest Assured.
• Scripting/programming languages (JavaScript, Java or similar).
• SQL query writing, troubleshooting and data validation.
• API testing and knowledge of web protocols and data formats.
• Performance or security testing (optional).
