Sourcing Professional

About the role

EVA Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical company dedicated to improving human health and well-being, is looking for a Sourcing Professional to join its Operations Business Division in Giza. The role leads sourcing activities for product development and commercial projects so that materials arrive on time and launches succeed.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to build a qualified, compliant and cost-effective supplier base.
• Lead sourcing for product development and commercial projects to ensure timely material availability and successful launches.
• Drive supplier performance, cost optimization and operational excellence through strategic sourcing and continuous improvement.
• Lead the sourcing team and work with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy (Master's or MBA preferred).
• 4-6 years in pharmaceutical sourcing or procurement, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience sourcing for regulated markets (EU, USA, GCC) and speeding up development-to-launch timelines.
• In-depth knowledge of APIs, excipients and pharmaceutical developments.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills focused on speed, quality and cost.
• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

Required skills

• Expertise in GMP, ICH and international compliance frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle systems and analytical tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Excellent communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
