Spa Director – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Spa Director will lead the Resense Spa at Kempinski Palace Cairo, ensuring an exceptional luxury experience that aligns with the brand’s European heritage. Reporting to the Resense Operations Manager and collaborating closely with the Hotel General Manager, the role is responsible for overall spa performance, guest satisfaction, and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Uphold and deliver the Resense brand vision and luxury USP across all spa services.
• Supervise daily spa operations, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance, and service standards meet 5‑star expectations.
• Communicate effectively with guests, spa team, and other hotel departments to provide personalized, genuine service.
• Enforce compliance with Resense and Kempinski SOPs, policies, and health & safety regulations.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and report according to brand procedures.
• Maintain an efficient equipment maintenance program and oversee safety for guests and staff.
• Plan employee schedules, vacations, and training, including onboarding for new hires.
• Drive goal‑setting, strategic planning, and regular performance reporting.
• Manage the spa’s financial budget, control costs, and maximize revenue.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster professional growth.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a luxury spa or wellness centre.
• Strong leadership and team‑development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive profitability while controlling operational costs.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards in a spa environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to handle guest disputes effectively.
