Spa Receptionist

About the role

The Spa Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests visiting the spa at our luxury hotel. You will manage reservations, guide guests through the spa experience, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule services for individuals and groups using the spa reservation system.
• Confirm appointments by phone and answer guest inquiries about services.
• Update reservation and cancellation lists throughout the day and communicate changes to service providers.
• Check‑in guests, verify their details, and provide a brief orientation of the spa facilities.
• Promote and sell spa and salon services to maximize revenue.
• Handle cash, process guest payments, and log tips for employees.
• Balance receipts, scan documents, and forward them to Accounting.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Less than one year of related experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spa reservation software.
• Cash handling and basic accounting tasks.
