Squad Lead – Java, Angular & Mobile (French Speaker)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Squad Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of innovative banking and FinTech solutions. The role requires strong leadership, deep technical expertise in Java, Angular, and mobile technologies, and fluency in French to collaborate directly with French‑speaking clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a cross‑functional Agile squad delivering banking and FinTech applications.
• Design and implement enterprise solutions using Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud), Angular, and mobile frameworks (Android, iOS, Flutter, React Native).
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business goals.
• Ensure delivery of secure, scalable, high‑quality applications following industry best practices.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce secure coding standards.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
• Support CI/CD implementation, DevOps practices, and cloud‑native deployments using Git, Docker, Kubernetes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience.
• 4‑5 years of experience as a Squad Lead, Technical Lead or Engineering Lead.
• Proven experience delivering digital banking, mobile banking, payment platforms or financial services applications.
• Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written French.
