Staff Pharmacist – Full‑time Pharmacy Role

About the role

Care Pharmacies, a leading pharmacy chain in Egypt, is seeking a full‑time Staff Pharmacist to join its Cairo location. The role focuses on delivering accurate medication dispensing, patient counseling, and ensuring regulatory compliance within a busy retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and verify prescriptions for potential drug interactions.
• Counsel customers on proper medication use, side effects, storage, and over‑the‑counter alternatives.
• Manage pharmacy inventory, monitor expiry dates, and perform regular stock replenishment.
• Maintain clear documentation of prescriptions, patient records, and transaction logs.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian pharmacy regulations and internal safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support customers with insurance or billing inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient pharmacy environment.

Required profile

• Strong clinical pharmacy knowledge, including pharmacology and dosage calculations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist license in Egypt.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and adherence to safety standards.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and engage in continuous professional development.
