Store Manager – Menswear Retail

About the role

Hajjo 1991 is a premium menswear brand offering suits, blazers, shirts, trousers and accessories. We are seeking a Store Manager who will run the store like an owner – overseeing the team, driving sales and ensuring the store’s look and feel meet our high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set monthly and daily sales targets for the store and each salesperson, monitor progress daily and motivate the team to achieve them.
• Work on the floor coaching staff, demonstrate selling techniques and personally serve key customers to build long‑term relationships.
• Maintain perfect store presentation: visual displays, lighting, cleanliness, and ensure every product is ironed, clean and defect‑free.
• Control staff appearance and uniform, manage music to suit the store atmosphere.
• Monitor stock levels, request replenishment and report fast‑moving and slow‑moving items.
• Create staff schedules, track attendance, handle shifts and manage customer complaints or returns.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for each employee covering sales, attendance, behaviour and development needs.
• Report daily and monthly sales results to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years retail experience with at least 1 year in a store‑manager or team‑lead role.
• Proven personal selling ability and experience meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Strong eye for detail – from product presentation to store cleanliness.
• Ability to lead, correct and motivate a team while maintaining low turnover.
• Good command of Arabic and English to serve local and foreign customers.
• Professional appearance and willingness to work retail hours, including weekends.

Required skills

• Experience using POS systems.
• Familiarity with ERP software for inventory and reporting.
