Storekeeper – Construction Site Materials Management

About the role

The Storekeeper will oversee the storage, movement, and documentation of materials on a construction site. You will ensure that all items are received, recorded, and issued according to company policies, supporting project timelines and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit daily inventory, in/out status, dead stock, age, and consumption reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate stock balances in both physical stock cards and the Oracle ERP system.
• Receive, inspect (with QC), and distribute a wide range of materials to site warehouses.
• Generate Material Receiving Reports (MRR) and alert managers when items reach minimum stock levels.
• Monitor warehouse cleanliness, safety (HSE), and proper arrangement of items to prevent damage or waste.
• Track slow‑moving, obsolete, and expiring items and provide periodic reports to supervisors and project managers.
• Supervise warehouse assistants and laborers, reporting performance twice a year.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehousing environment, preferably within construction.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP for inventory management.
