Storekeeper – Construction Site Materials Management

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the flow of materials, tools and equipment on a construction site. The role ensures that all items are stored, tracked and distributed according to company policies, supporting project timelines and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Issue daily inventory, in/out status, dead‑stock, age and consumption reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate stock balances in physical stock cards and the Oracle ERP system.
• Oversee warehouse cleanliness, organization and proper storage to prevent waste or damage.
• Receive a wide range of materials, perform inspections with QC, and prepare Material Receiving Reports (MRR).
• Distribute materials to site warehouses, monitor minimum stock levels and generate alerts.
• Prepare monthly inventory transaction reports for each inventory category.
• Track slow‑moving, obsolete and expiring items, providing periodic reports to supervisors and project managers.
• Supervise warehouse assistants, conduct performance reviews and enforce HSE policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a warehousing environment, preferably on construction projects.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Oracle ERP for inventory management.
