Storekeeper – Hospitality

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Storekeeper to join our hotel’s back‑of‑house team in Sharm El Sheikh. You will be responsible for receiving, handling and organising merchandise and supplies to ensure smooth operations across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage incoming merchandise by department, label and place items on pallets or carts.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and alert supervisors of low stock levels.
• Store perishables correctly, rotate stock, and inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness and quality.
• Reject damaged, incorrect or unacceptable items and follow food‑safety procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitized refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard and waste, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Communicate clearly with guests and co‑workers and support team goals.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift/move items up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination for handling objects of varying size.
• Comfort working in narrow, confined or elevated spaces and on uneven or slippery surfaces.
• Commitment to food‑safety standards and quality‑assurance procedures.
