Storekeeper

About the role

EliteFm is seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to join its Alexandria facility. The role involves managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that warehouse operations run smoothly and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
• Store items securely and efficiently, maintaining organized stock areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update the inventory management system daily.
• Pack and prepare materials for internal use or external dispatch.
• Monitor stock levels, report discrepancies or shortages promptly.
• Operate forklifts in compliance with safety procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to guarantee timely material availability.

Required profile

• Strong focus on inventory control and management.
• Hands‑on experience in unloading and packing goods.
• Certified or competent forklift operator with a safety‑first attitude.
• High attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
• Basic computer proficiency for inventory system updates.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics or storekeeping preferred.
