Storekeeper

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to join the first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt. You will be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring that inventory is stored efficiently and complies with safety and hygiene standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders.
• Organise and store inventory using FIFO principles to minimise waste.
• Maintain accurate records in the inventory management system and update stock levels regularly.
• Issue supplies to kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance and other departments as required.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and report any discrepancies.
• Assist with re‑ordering when stock levels fall below thresholds.
• File and retain purchase orders, invoices and delivery notes for audit purposes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hazardous‑item handling procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; logistics or supply‑chain background is a plus.
• Previous experience in inventory management or storekeeping, preferably within a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong organisational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of inventory systems and stock control processes.
