Storekeeper – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Storekeeper will oversee daily warehouse operations at our facility in 10th of Ramadan, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, issuance and record‑keeping of raw materials, production supplies, spare parts and finished goods. The role supports production continuity, minimizes waste and guarantees compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all types of warehouses (raw materials, finished products, production supplies, spare parts) in compliance with industrial standards.
• Organize receiving, inspection, storage and issuance activities while strictly following quality and safety procedures.
• Apply FIFO, LIFO and FEFO inventory methods and optimise storage practices to reduce waste and losses.
• Operate and maintain ERP systems and inventory‑management software, preparing accurate reports for management.
• Perform regular cycle counts, analyse discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health & Safety standards and safe‑storage requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Planning, Purchasing and Quality departments to ensure smooth material flow.
• Suggest and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives using Lean warehousing principles.
• Contribute to cost reduction through efficient space utilisation and management of slow‑moving items.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of proven experience managing industrial warehouses, preferably in plastics or similar industries.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with safety standards and handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Excellent analytical skills for accurate reporting and decision support.
• Highly organised, procedure‑driven and able to work under pressure.
