Structural Design Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a Structural Design Engineer to join YBA Architects’ structural design team in Heliopolis, Cairo. The role involves preparing structural models, performing analyses, and supporting the creation of construction drawings while collaborating with senior engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing preliminary structural designs using engineering software.
- Develop structural analysis models under senior engineer supervision.
- Support the preparation of construction drawings and technical documentation.
- Review designs for compliance with engineering codes under guidance.
- Provide technical support during design stages and coordinate with other departments.
- Contribute to design reports and structural calculations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
- 3–5 years of experience in structural design.
- Basic understanding of Egyptian and ACI structural codes.
- Good command of English, especially technical terminology.
Required skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with SAP2000, ETABS, and SAFE.
