Student Marketeer - Egyptian Russian University (ERU)

About the role

Red Bull Student Marketeers are brand and product ambassadors who represent the brand on their university campus and in their region. The role aims to reach new consumers, excite university students, increase sales and manage the Red Bull brand at student level, including direct contact with consumers, inviting product trials and working at Red Bull events. It suits someone who values flexibility over a 9 to 5 job and enjoys a creative working atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a brand and product ambassador: embody the brand personality and values in everyday interactions with consumers and customers.
• Grow the user base by inviting positive trial and awareness through product sampling, answering consumer questions and concerns.
• Build and run an insight-driven, campus-tailored plan that engages and excites students.
• Build a strong network of key local individuals and drive brand engagement on social media with authentic content.
• Build relationships with local sales account managers so Red Bull is available and visible in outlets, and help open new distribution points on and around campus.
• Use Red Bull assets to keep the brand top of mind in sales accounts and ensure store standards are followed.
• Maintain Student Marketeer tools, plan and report activities on the dedicated online platform, and share ideas with the team regularly.

Required profile

• Second or third-year student.
• Excellent communication skills, charismatic, energetic, positive and outgoing, and able to relate to many different people.
• Immersed in student life, with a thorough understanding of the university, city and region, including behind-the-scenes activities and hot spots.
• Creative mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, responsibility and initiative.
• Affinity for learning marketing, negotiation and sales skills.
• Connected with influential groups and individuals on campus.
• Passion for the Red Bull brand and product.
• Must have a valid driving license.

The position is part-time, and candidates must be able to manage part-time work and studies, ideally working some evenings and weekends.
