Summer Internship - Application Developer

About the role

IBM Consulting is offering a two‑month summer internship for students interested in application development, AI, and data engineering. You will work on real business problems, collaborating with experienced consultants and engineers to deliver tangible solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Explore data, perform feature engineering, and build machine‑learning models for classification, NLP, and reinforcement learning.
• Design, implement and document end‑to‑end ETL pipelines that support data‑driven decision making.
• Develop cloud‑native microservices and full‑stack applications following best practices for security and scalability.
• Translate analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Required profile

• Current Computer Science or Engineering student.
• Available for a two‑month commitment during the summer.
• Very good to excellent command of English.

Required skills

• Machine Learning (including classification, NLP, reinforcement learning).
• ETL pipeline development.
• Cloud‑native microservices.
• Full‑stack software development.
