Supply Chain Manager – FMCG (Alexandria)

About the role

The company, one of Egypt's largest FMCG food manufacturers, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise its end‑to‑end supply chain operations in Alexandria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies and procedures to improve efficiency and support business growth.
• Lead and manage procurement, logistics, warehousing and planning teams, ensuring high performance and operational discipline.
• Own the S&OP process, aligning demand, supply and production plans with business needs.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure reliability, service quality and cost efficiency.
• Oversee local and foreign procurement of raw and packaging materials, securing best cost and quality.
• Manage demand, production and material planning to avoid stock shortages or excess.
• Monitor inventory levels and working capital, reducing slow‑moving and obsolete items.
• Direct inbound and outbound logistics, export coordination and customs clearance activities.
• Drive warehouse performance, ensuring inventory integrity and continuous cost optimisation.
• Track supply chain KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turnover, lead time and logistics cost, reporting against targets.
• Analyse supply chain dashboards to support data‑driven decisions and continuous improvement.
• Lead initiatives to secure supply continuity, manage risks and optimise total supply chain cost.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 15–20 years of supply chain experience in FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Strong experience across procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing and distribution, including local and export operations.
• Good command of English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience with supply chain reporting and analytics.
