Supply Chain Manager (Pharmacist)

About the role

Andalusia Hospitals is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a pharmacy background to oversee the end‑to‑end flow of medical and pharmaceutical products across its facilities in Smouha, Alexandria. The role combines strategic procurement, warehouse management, inventory control and distribution to ensure uninterrupted patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all supply chain activities, including procurement, warehousing, inventory management and distribution.
• Guarantee the availability of medical and pharmaceutical supplies while minimizing inventory costs.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts and implement sourcing strategies.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, quality standards and internal policies.
• Lead, mentor and develop the supply chain team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a valid pharmacist license.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with proven expertise in procurement and warehouse operations.
• Previous experience in the healthcare, hospital or pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.
