Supply Planning Assistant Manager – New Cairo

About the role

The Supply Planning Assistant Manager is the focal point for supply planning in assigned markets, ensuring alignment between demand forecasts and supply availability across perishable and non‑perishable product ranges. The role leads a small team of planners, coordinates with procurement and local suppliers, and drives inventory efficiency, waste reduction and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own market‑level supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, sales targets and inventory norms.
• Manage purchase cycles for perishable and non‑perishable products, ensuring consistent replenishment and coordinating stock transfers across operational centres.
• Monitor inbound deliveries, lead times and resolve escalations to protect customer service.
• Track and analyse inventory health, implement spoilage and damage reduction practices, and lead root‑cause analysis of discrepancies.
• Coordinate local supplier execution with Procurement, conduct performance reviews and ensure compliance with contracts and cost targets.
• Use ERP and advanced Excel to maintain supply data, generate market performance reports and audit data quality.
• Lead market‑level improvement projects, ageing reviews and champion waste‑reduction initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply planning or inventory management, preferably within a fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills to work with procurement, suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
• Leadership capability to mentor planners and drive team development.
