System Administrator – IT Team (Heliopolis, Cairo)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to join our IT team in Heliopolis, Cairo. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security and performance of our IT infrastructure, supporting both server and user environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor company IT systems, including servers, networks and user workstations.
• Administer Active Directory, domain services and DNS to ensure proper authentication and name resolution.
• Manage VMware virtual environments and vSAN storage solutions.
• Implement and oversee backup and disaster recovery processes for critical data.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Support security measures, including endpoint detection and response (EDR) and network detection and response (NDR) tools.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations and project delivery.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in infrastructure administration, preferably in Microsoft‑based environments.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and domain management.
• Experience with VMware virtualization technologies and vSAN.
• Familiarity with enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
• Understanding of EDR/NDR security solutions and basic cloud concepts.
