Talent & Culture Lead – HR Manager

About the role

First Global Logistics is seeking a Talent & Culture Lead to build and head its HR function as the company expands its branch network across Egypt. Reporting to the Board and CEO, you will shape policies, workforce planning and culture for a growing family‑owned logistics business.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement HR policies, procedures and an employee handbook aligned with Egyptian labor law.
• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment and workforce planning for new branches.
• Partner with senior leadership on organizational design and new role creation.
• Own onboarding, employee relations, performance management and training programmes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with labor and social insurance regulations.
• Coordinate compensation structuring and benefits design while payroll remains with management.
• Track HR metrics such as headcount, turnover and time‑to‑hire and report to leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; HR certification a plus.
• 7+ years progressive HR experience, including senior generalist or HR manager roles.
• Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and social insurance regulations.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding or related industry preferred.
• Proven ability to support company growth, restructuring or new‑site setup.
• Fluent in Arabic and English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Alexandria with flexibility to travel to Cairo and Port Said.
