Teaching Assistant / Assistant Lecturer – Engineering Faculty

About the role

Al‑Ryada University’s Faculty of Engineering is seeking qualified individuals to join as Teaching Assistants and Assistant Lecturers across three engineering specialisations. The successful candidates will support undergraduate education, conduct practical laboratory sessions and contribute to the faculty’s research and quality‑assurance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist faculty members in delivering theoretical lectures and practical laboratory classes.
• Prepare and supervise laboratory experiments, projects and student assessments.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students throughout the semester.
• Participate in research projects and academic development initiatives.
• Contribute to accreditation and quality‑assurance processes.
• Perform other academic duties as assigned by the department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum “Very Good” grade, CGPA ≥ 3.7) or Master’s degree in the relevant engineering field (Mechanical Power, Mechatronics, Renewable Energy, Electrical Power & Machines, Automation & Robotics) from an accredited institution.
• Strong academic and research background in the chosen specialisation.
• Ability to support undergraduate teaching and laboratory instruction.
