Team Leader – Nutrition & Scientific Affairs

About the role

Juhayna Food Industries seeks a Team Leader to ensure its dairy and juice products meet all local and international food laws and nutrition standards. The role combines regulatory compliance, scientific validation, and sustainability oversight while guiding junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret food regulations (local, Codex, GCC, EU) and scientific updates.
• Review and approve product labels, ingredient lists, nutrition facts, and health claims.
• Represent the company in external technical committees, industry groups, and regulator meetings.
• Lead preparation and validation of nutrition facts and supporting documentation for new and existing products.
• Develop and maintain documentation and traceability systems (e.g., SharePoint) for specifications, artwork, and regulatory files.
• Set sustainability criteria for key ingredients and collaborate with Procurement and R&D to collect proofs and track improvement road‑maps.
• Support internal training and nutrition‑related awareness initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 48 months (4 years) of experience in food regulatory affairs, nutrition, or scientific affairs.
• Proven ability to lead a team and manage cross‑functional projects.
