Technical Delivery Lead

About the role

The Technical Delivery Lead bridges software engineering and project management, ensuring complex technology projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to high quality standards. This role provides hands‑on technical guidance while coordinating cross‑functional teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on solution design, reviewing architecture and evaluating development approaches.
• Champion engineering best practices such as code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
• Identify and mitigate technical debt, dependencies, and risks.
• Translate business requirements into realistic project plans, estimates, and resource allocations.
• Track milestones, manage releases, deployments, and change management activities.
• Ensure deliverables meet engineering quality standards and functional requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, delivering clear status updates and metrics.
• Coordinate activities across multiple teams, departments, and third‑party vendors.
• Remove impediments and foster a transparent, self‑organising team culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a Technical Delivery Lead, Tech Lead, or Solutions Delivery role.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Strong conflict‑resolution and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Agile and Scrum methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Project management tools such as Jira and Trello.
• CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
