Technical Office Engineer – Sheet Metal Fabrication

About the role

United Industrial Group for Metals is looking for a Technical Office Engineer specialized in sheet metal fabrication. You will translate design concepts into detailed manufacturing documents, ensuring precision and efficiency on the production floor.

Key responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for sheet metal parts.
• Generate complete Bills of Materials (BOM) and process sheets covering cutting, turning, milling, jigs, fixtures, and dies.
• Design sheet metal dies and provide cost‑effective offering for required parts.
• Select appropriate materials, thicknesses, and specifications for durability and performance.
• Prepare nested layouts, cutting lists, bending sequences, and assembly instructions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues and optimise production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced proficiency in Siemens NX.
• Expertise in sheet metal operations: punching, laser cutting, bending, welding.
