Technical Office Site Engineer – Hospitality Construction

About the role

The Technical Office Site Engineer will coordinate all on‑site technical activities for a hospitality construction project in the Red Sea Governorate. Acting as the bridge between design, construction teams and consultants, the role ensures that execution follows approved shop drawings, contract specifications and budget controls.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and coordinate architectural and structural shop drawings, resolving any MEP conflicts.
• Review and compile quantity surveying tables, comparing contractual quantities with as‑built measurements.
• Audit contractor invoices after consultant review and assess monthly progress payment requests.
• Manage RFIs, material submittals and approvals, keeping design and as‑built drawings up to date.
• Analyze design changes, calculate variation orders and produce technical reports.
• Provide immediate engineering solutions to the site team and liaise directly with consultants to resolve field issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural engineering.
• 5–7 years of solid technical office experience, preferably in hospitality or hotel construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, shop drawing processes and quantity surveying.
