Technical Specification Engineer – Construction Chemicals

About the role

The Technical Specification Engineer will work on‑site with consultants, architects, developers and contractors across Alexandria and surrounding governorates. You will ensure that Prokem’s construction chemical products are specified in new and ongoing projects, providing technical support from design through execution.

Key responsibilities

• Promote the full range of construction chemicals to consultants, architects, developers and contractors.
• Secure product specifications on new and ongoing projects.
• Deliver technical presentations and seminars.
• Prepare technical submittals, method statements and related documentation.
• Support the sales team throughout project execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with consultants and project stakeholders.
• Monitor project opportunities and competitor activities in the market.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 2‑5 years of experience in construction chemicals, building materials, specification engineering or technical sales.
• Solid knowledge of waterproofing, flooring, repair, protective coatings, sealants and concrete admixtures.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable using AI tools and productivity platforms.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Alexandria and nearby governorates.
