Telecommunication, Centralized Control and Signaling Manager

About the role

Egis Group is looking for an experienced electrical engineer to act as Telecommunication, Centralized Control and Signaling Manager for Metro and electrified rail transit projects. The role oversees the supervision of installation, testing and commissioning of all telecommunication, centralized control and signaling systems, ensuring their successful implementation and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of telecommunication, centralized control and signaling infrastructure for Metro and rail transit projects
• Organize and oversee technical execution in line with project specifications and industry standards
• Run testing protocols, validate system performance and coordinate commissioning so systems integrate with transport infrastructure
• Work with engineering teams and contractors on control system installation and integration
• Maintain technical documentation, testing reports and commissioning records
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and testing to keep project timelines on track
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships and guide installation and testing teams
• Recommend system architecture improvements, allocate resources and manage project schedules

Required profile

• 20+ years of professional experience in railway/rail transit telecommunications systems and infrastructure
• 7+ years managing centralized control systems, SCADA systems and signaling protocols in rail transit
• Demonstrated experience with Operations Control Center (OCC) systems and rail signaling technologies
• Proven experience leading technical teams in railway telecommunications and control systems
• Project management capability to handle multiple rail transit initiatives at once
• Preferred: certification in telecommunications, rail systems management or network management, and experience with emerging rail transit technologies
