Tender & Cost Estimation Engineer (MEP)

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented and experienced Tender & Cost Estimation Engineer to join our Tendering & Estimation team. The successful candidate will review tender documents, prepare quantity take‑offs and cost estimates, obtain supplier/sub‑contractor quotations, and deliver accurate technical and commercial offers for MEP projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review tender documents, BOQs, drawings and specifications.
• Prepare quantity take‑offs, BOQs and cost estimates for MEP scope.
• Request, compare and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers and ensure timely submission.
• Coordinate with Technical Office, Procurement, Business Development and Project teams.
• Identify cost‑saving and value‑engineering opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• 2–5 years of experience in tendering, estimation or costing within MEP contracting.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, fire‑fighting and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with the Egyptian construction and MEP market is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
